Eric Thibodeaux Joins REM

We are excited to announce the addition of Eric Thibodeaux to the REM team! Eric is a health, safety, and environmental professional with experience in fire protection, worker safety, emergency response, process safety, auditing, Severe Injury & Fatality (SIF) interventions, and risk management. He has previously held health and safety leadership positions in the oil and gas and chemical refining industries and managed large teams of health and safety professionals around the world.

Eric has helped companies develop self-verification processes to identify precursors to potential SIF incidents. He has led teams providing EHS compliance & risk assessment, risk assessment & reduction, training, contractor safety management, crisis management capabilities, incident investigation & audit support for the business.  Eric was previously a safety engineer responsible for coordinating process safety & emergency response activities for BP. He has developed and executed spill response plans for oil spills in the Gulf of Mexico and the Gulf of Suez in Egypt. Eric has experience as an environmental manager and ensuring ISO 140001 compliance. 

Eric has a passion for helping vacation rental owners improve the safety and operation of their properties. He has served on the Association Short Term Rental Home Owners (ASTRHO) Advisory Board for Safety & Housekeeping. Eric is an expert witness for safety and management of Vacation / Short Term Rentals and apartment complexes.
