Intern Spotlight: Bailey Magill
REM is excited to have Bailey Magill as an intern this summer! Bailey is from Russellville, Arkansas and currently attends Oklahoma State University where she is majoring in Fire Protection and Safety Technology (Class of 2025).
She hasn’t decided what she wants to do when she graduates yet, but says “I’m hoping this internship and hopefully a few more in the future will give me some insight as to what my options are and will be able to help me decide what I enjoy doing the most.“
Bailey says her goals at REM this summer are to “grasp a good understanding of how to apply the things I am learning in school. School provides a lot of information but doesn’t provide a whole lot on the aspect of day-to-day work involving the information and how to use it. I’m also hoping to take these appliance skills back to school in the fall and be a better student after seeing a little bit of the bigger picture of why what I’m learning matters.“
For fun Bailey enjoys bowling, playing soccer, building Lego sets, playing guitar, hanging out with her cat, and thrifting.
REM is delighted to have three interns in Dallas this summer! Check back for additional spotlights in the coming weeks.
