REM Risk Consultants continues to assist clients with emerging challenges related to the COVID-19 virus. We are proud to assist a leading pharmaceutical company in performing remote design assistance, process risk assessments, and hazard analyses for the development of COVID-19 vaccine manufacturing processes.

As with any new process, risk assessments such as process hazard analyses (PHAs), Hazard and Operability Studies (HazOps), Layer of Protection Analyses (LOPAs), and process reviews must be performed to ensure a safe startup and optimization for continuity of operations. This is especially critical for the COVID-19 vaccine manufacturing process given the great need for the product.
