REM Awarded Contract to Conduct Cal Poly Wildfire Risk Assessment
Insight Risk LLC (DBA REM Risk Consultants) was awarded a contract to conduct a wildfire risk assessment of California Polytechnic University Pomona. Cal Poly Pomona is a doctoral degree granting institution of higher learning located in Los Angeles County, California in the city of Pomona. The University spans 1,400 acres and has over 60 buildings, including classrooms, a student union, Arabian Horse Center, Kellogg Conference Center and Lodge, and historic buildings. The facility is located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains and the Angeles National Forest, borders the Voorhis Ecological Preserve, and has a somewhat hilly and varied topography set between Interstate 10 and the Orange Freeway.
