Description
R.E.M. Risk Consultants, LLC (“R.E.M.”) is seeking a process safety/occupational safety specialist to assist in its thriving consulting practice. R.E.M. is a fire protection, safety, and occupational health consulting firm that delivers science-based solutions to assist clients with ensuring business continuity.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
- 0-5 years of experience in process safety and/or occupational safety.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards published by OSHA and NFPA.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to travel.
- Open to relocate to Dallas, Texas or the DFW Metroplex.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial loss control, electrical safe work practices, occupational safety, fire protection, and/or process safety that includes one or more internships.
- Academic preparation in industrial engineering, safety engineering, chemical engineering, fire protection engineering, process safety, electrical safety, including engineering technology.
- Master’s degree.
