Description

R.E.M. Risk Consultants, LLC (“R.E.M.”) is seeking a process safety/occupational safety specialist to assist in its thriving consulting practice. R.E.M. is a fire protection, safety, and occupational health consulting firm that delivers science-based solutions to assist clients with ensuring business continuity.

R.E.M. is seeking applicants with academic preparation in occupational safety or process safety, or similar areas of study (e.g., industrial hygiene, human factors engineering) with a quantitative science and

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
  • 0-5 years of experience in process safety and/or occupational safety.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards published by OSHA and NFPA.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Open to relocate to Dallas, Texas or the DFW Metroplex.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in industrial loss control, electrical safe work practices, occupational safety, fire protection, and/or process safety that includes one or more internships.
  • Academic preparation in industrial engineering, safety engineering, chemical engineering, fire protection engineering, process safety, electrical safety, including engineering technology.
  • Master’s degree.
