Donald is an experienced fire, risk, and process safety professional with over 16 years of experience. He has delivered results in a variety of sectors; including petrochemical, midstream, downstream, chemical manufacturing, government, nuclear, power, pharmaceutical, construction, and consulting. His work has reached the United States, Canada, Mexico, Italy, England, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and China.
His expertise spans fire protection, life safety, general safety, risk management, fire systems engineering, process safety, hazardous materials, risk assessment, program management, and inspection services. Donald has taken a special interest in developing fit-for-purpose approaches to fire protection and hazard reduction for high-hazard occupancies. This focus has led to firewater needs analysis, hydraulic modeling, fireproofing needs assessment, fire hazard analysis, fire risk assessment, program development, and master improvement planning.
He is recognized for developing results-driven strategies that enhance safety, reduce operational risk, and strengthen organizational resilience. Donald is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS).
