Dillon is a fire protection and safety professional. He has acted as fire protection lead on a vast array of design-build and design-bid-build projects with values ranging from $2MM to $550MM including: federal; food and beverage production and storage; consumer product production and storage; wastewater treatment; and general office buildings.

Dillon has advised companies on fire suppression, fire alarm, and life safety systems within existing facilities and new facilities. He has designed and prepared fire suppression and fire alarm performance-based drawings, hydraulic calculations, and specifications in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), International Code Council (ICC), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), and insurance requirements. He has performed life safety code analysis research and drawing preparation in accordance with the NFPA, ICC, and UFC. He also has performed hazardous materials analyses for health hazardous products, ignitable liquids, and oxidizers in accordance with the NFPA and ICC. Dillon has assisted facilities in mitigating risk through adequate fire protection and life safety design and installation. He has evaluated existing facilities to determine whether fire protection and life safety systems were sufficient to protect the occupancy at hand, and at times performed feasibility analysis to determine whether an occupancy could be renovated or expanded in accordance with the ICC. He has developed unique fire protection and life safety solutions for process and storage systems to ensure adequate protection of occupants, first responders, and properties.

He is also a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, National Association of Fire Investigators, and American Society of Safety Professionals.

Dillon is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in fire protection within the states of Arizona and California, and is a Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP).
